Striving to be a better version of yourself?

The Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP) has certainly achieved this, now at version 5, surpassing its predecessor, version 4, which will see the end of support from the Shibboleth project in September 2024. Which version are you currently using?

Maintaining an up-to-date Shibboleth IdP is a crucial component of Cyber Essentials.

Ready for an upgrade?

Help is available, as the UK federation has released its upgrade documentation for transitioning Shibboleth IdPs from v4 to v5.

This is intended to complement the Shibboleth consortium ongoing efforts and to aid in your individual integrations with the UK federation.

It was an opportunity for users to gain insights and have their questions addressed directly by the UK Federation team as well as a developer from the Shibboleth Consortium. The recording from this webinar is now available on the UK federation website along with a copy of the slides.
